Qubo, the premium smart home devices brand from Hero Electronix, has announced a significant expansion of its smart security portfolio with the launch of five new smart door locks. The new additions include three all-new models—Smart Door Lock Nova, Alpha, and Optima—alongside the 2025 editions of the brand’s best-selling variants, Smart Door Lock Select and Essential. With this comprehensive range, Qubo further solidifies its position in India’s smart home security segment, offering advanced, reliable, and accessible solutions for homes of all sizes and budgets.
Available across both offline and online channels, the product strategy is designed to maximise reach and convenience for consumers. The Nova, Alpha, and Optima models will be sold exclusively through Qubo’s offline retail network, which spans over 1,500 stores nationwide. Meanwhile, the refreshed Select and Essential models will continue to be available through leading e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and the Qubo website. The diverse availability reflects Qubo’s mission to make smart security universally accessible, whether a homeowner prefers in-person buying experiences or digital convenience.
Engineered for the Indian home, the new smart door locks offer varied bolt configurations and are compatible with wooden doors of differing thicknesses, ranging from 30 mm to 60 mm. Whether for apartments, villas, or independent homes, the range brings together robust mechanical build with seamless digital integration. Each model continues the Qubo tradition of integrating effortlessly into the brand’s broader ecosystem of smart security solutions, including video doorbells and smart cameras. Through the Qubo app, users benefit from real-time alerts, remote access, and intuitive controls—ensuring a fully connected and secure home environment.
Among the standout features, the Nova and Select models are built for high-security requirements, offering five heavy-duty stainless-steel bolts including a deadbolt for maximum protection. On the other end of the spectrum, the Optima presents a first-of-its-kind offering from Qubo—a smart door lock that functions independently of any app, ideal for those just beginning their journey into smart home technology. The Alpha and Essential models balance affordability and performance, offering dependable protection through dual-bolt systems and multiple locking modes.
